Pre-Faculty Plenary Speakers

This conference is the first forum to bring together trainees, faculty, and senior leaders to share and discuss activities and best practices to better prepare trainees (e.g. college, graduate, post-doctoral) to consider, pursue and ultimately succeed as future educators, researchers, and clinical faculty at our institutions.  This conference is designed for health professionals (M.D., D.O., P.A.-C., R.N., N.P., D.M.D., social workers, psychologists, etc.), educators, researchers and trainees (pre-health professions, professional schools, and graduate).  The conference will host plenaries, workshops, and a poster fair and competition.  Important activities and deadlines to note include:

  1. Workshop and poster abstract submission (second round) are extended to January 15, 2018 at https://bngap.org/national-conference/abstract-submission/ The program committee is most interested in proposals detailing: 1) innovative research describing trends of trainees’ exploration and consideration of academic careers, 2) best practices in heightening trainees’ awareness of, interest in and preparedness for academic careers, and 3) institutional efforts to build the upstream pipeline of diverse trainees considering academic careers.
  2. Please encourage your community members to register for the conference at https://bngap.org/national-conference/registration/. The 3-day Conference offers 30+ plenaries, workshops and consultation sessions led by regional and national experts of ‘Pre-Faculty Development’. Early registration ends December 15, 2017.

Refund Policy:

Before February 1 full refund possible.  Between February 1 – February 10, 50% refund on registration.  After February 10 no refund for registration.
